Contemporary ceramics and ancient remains

The idea arose to organize an unusual event within the walls of the Musée Romain, right next to the Château: a confrontation between the works of a contemporary Catalan artist, Claudi Casanovas, and the millennia-old exhibits usually on show at the Musée Romain de Nyon. Although Casanovas does not work in porcelain, but in clay, and the monumental aspect of his work brings it closer to sculpture, his work is a clear example of contemporary ceramic creation.
